The PageMinder System is made up of 8 components; each component supports a specific function regarding that individual page, even though it may not be visibily apparent on the page. Each component is represented by a box for you to type in the information for you web site. Read below for a description of each component and instructions on usage.
Page Title
The Page Title appears in the top right of the browser. Besides explaining what that specific page is about, the Page Title is also important in getting your site listed properly and with a high ranking in the search engines. The Page Title is also usually listed on search engine results; a descriptive page title is more likely to be clicked. Your may wish to include you company name at the beginning of all Page Titles along with your business focus ("Warewash" for example).
Page Description
The Page Description doesn't appear in the actual page as it is viewed but in the page's met tag coding. Meta tags are read by the search engines are used to index and rank your site and its pages. The Page Description should briefly, one or two sentences, describe your page, your site and/or your company. This information, along with your Page Title and Page Keywords, as well as the actual text that appears on the page, are the most important factors in attaining a good search engine ranking for the right types of searches. The Page Description is also usually shown in search engine queries.
Page Keywords
The Page Keywords should be the keywords you would enter in a web search if you were trying to find your company. They should include your company name, type of business, business location, words that describe your products, services and industry. The Page Keywords do not appear on the page as it is viewed by visitors in a web browser. They are contained in the source of the page and are read by search engines. The keywords you enter should also appear in the general text (Header, Body, Footer) of your page, showing relevance to your pages topic. You are able to manage the meta tag keywords on a page by page basis using the PageMinder System, allowing for better search engine rankings.
Link Status Text
The Link Status Text is used in conjunction with the Navigation System. When a visitor hovers his mouse over a navigation button this text appears in the browser's status bar (not all may browsers may have the status bar turned on), instead of showing the URL. You must activate the Rollover option in the Site Navigation perferences in order for the Link Status Text option to be active.

Additional Content Areas
There are three additional content areas that you may use to expand your site. These additional content areas can be used to expand a single page or, in some cases, add entirely new pages to your site. If you enter anything in these areas they will appear in your site automatically, if they are left blank they will be left out with no irregular formatting. The three additional content areas are:
- Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's): Combinations of questions and answers that you are frequently asked about your business, its products and/or services. Use this area to better explain your business and what sets it apart from your competitors.
- Products: Your site already has Products page that you can enter content for using the PageMinder System. Products you have entered Material Safety Data Sheets for using the MSDS Manager may also be used to create a Product List for the Products page. This additional Products content area allows you to enter product categories complete with category name, brief and expanded descriptions and then add individual products categorized by those categories. This option allows you to set a preference for listing all of the product categories along with their brief description on your Products page, whereby visitors could click on a product category name opening a new page with the product category as the headline followed by its expanded description and a listing of all of the individual products within that category. Thus, if you enter a dozen product categories under this scenario you would add 12 pages to your web site.
- Services: The Services additional content feature is similar to the Products feature. Additional Services are added to the Services page and may be set to just add additional information as bulleted items in the Services page or provide summary info on that page with links to entirely new pages.
